FFF is breakcore artist/producer and DJ Tommy de Roos from Rotterdam, Netherlands. ik heb een aantal dagen geleden janis joplin weer herontdekt. ik was altijd al fan van haar sound. iedere muziek liefhebber zou het album pearl van haar eens moeten horen....ze was niet voor niks zo geliefd bij de hippies, dus dan weet je ongeveer wat je kan verwachten. goede teksten, geweldige rauwe stem, mooie muziek...

µ-Ziq

Mike Paradinas is µ-Ziq, pronounced, simply, "music." (µ is the greek letter 'Mu', pronounced "mew"). He has released music under various appellations, among them "Jake Slazenger" "Kid Spatula" "Gary Moscheles" and "Tusken Raiders", but his primary moniker is µ-Ziq.

µ-Ziq has collaborated with one of the most visible leaders of the modern electronic movement, Richard D. James (Aphex Twin). Between them they pioneered the drill'n'bass (a highly intricate sub genre of drum 'n' bass, which is characterized by complex drum patterns (heavily reliant on the amen break) and a more melodic approach to most d'n'b.

µ-Ziq also owns and runs the electronic label Planet µ, which hosts a number of idm artists. Paradinas shows an uncanny knack at spotting the most innovative and interesting electronic acts from around the world, signing new talents such as Venetian Snares, Vex'd and Chevron.

Planet µ soars to new heights, and many argue that it has taken Warp's place in the drivers seat in terms of innovation and forward-thinking. The label has taken a darker turn, with the rising popularity of gabba, breakcore and dubstep.

Pulse Now! is proud to announce that Shwayze has signed a record deal with Suretone Records.

The 21-year-old artist, who blends rap and hip-hop to produce his own unique sound, now joins the ranks of Angels & Airwaves, New Found Glory, and Weezer at Suretone, which was started in March of this year by former Flip Records guru Jordan Schur.

Born and raised in Malibu, CA, he started writing songs while in eighth grade, and started his first band while in high school, but quickly moved toward working as a solo artist.

Shwayze recently toured with former Pulse artist Mickey Avalon, who signed a deal earlier this year with Suretone’s partner, Interscope Records.

But you’ll never find Shwayze spitting lyrics about a gangsta lifestyle. Speaking earlier this year to US business magazine, the OC Metro, he points out: “I’m from Malibu, not from South Central.”
